What does it mean to dream about snakes or have a snake in your dreams? Dreaming about snakes sometimes isn’t about the snake at all. SNAKES are symbolic of untapped creative energy, life force/the kundalini.
Snakes have historically been acquainted with evil, but that is not the typically accepted dream symbology. It is a symbol of rebirth, because of the way the snake sheds it’s skin.
In some cases, it can be a sexual symbol…but Freud thought just about everything was a sex symbol in dreams, so I am hesitant to even mention it; however, if these are the 2 dream themes you are having at the same time in your life, then these could be symbolic of your untapped sexual energy. The literal translation of kundalini means coiling, like a snake. This symbol of “coiling” represents ready & able energies which are not yet tapped into by the Self. Plese help me: I just woke up from a very intense dream in which i hurted a big dark brown snake. I dont know why but I was sure it was a female snake?! Weird I know!! (the sake was hidden in the dirt. I was digging in there and touched her accidently with my shovel) I tried to heal her but she kept defending herself. The snake tried to get away from me but i really wanted to clean her wound and put bandages on it before letting her go. Trying to do this the snake bit me twice. (It didn’t really hurt me) I managed to clean her wound but I wasn’t able to put bandages on it. I also remember that there were two very coulourful Gekkos in the gras. I remember them very well but I didn’t pay much attention to them because the snake seemed to be more important to me. This was about the weirdest dream I ever had and I really would like to know what it means. If someone can interpret this please comment below.

I had a dream this morning that a snake was attacking me and a friend of mine, and eventually our Math teacher found a way to lock the snake in a room. Could this be connected to the fact that I have a Math exam today and that it is suppressing my creativity and spirit, which is really angry?? lol but why attack ME and not the Math teacher or something??

I was woken from a dream of several different types of snakes from pythons, adders, to cobras. The snakes would attack people who of which all would be about to embark on a journey of some sorts. The people that get bitten are all different and strangers to me. I however never get bitten but always witness the biting of these ppl. What could this possibly mean?

This is an interesting dream as it is others and not yourself who seem to be affected by the snakes, as I mentioned in an earlier comment, when snakes appear in your dreams it can signify hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced.
But seeing as the snakes are attacking random peole who are about to go on a journey, and these people are all strangers to you then maybe this signifies that you are worried about the welfare of others and fear that something untoward might happen to them.
Are you one of lifes worriers, do you see news reports that make you feel sad and maybe a little helpless that you can’t help people who are maybe in war torn countries or countries where there has been a natural disastor.

I dreamt I was praying at the alter with my eyes closed and when I open my eyes I notice a white snake coiled up with the head up, like a cobra, but it wasn’t a cobra. As I gaze at it it slowly slithers down from the alter and goes away. What is the significance or meaning of this dream.

It is said that to dream that you are praying or kneeling at an altar represents unfulfilled desires and a white snake represents a weak adversary, although a coiled or moving snake quite often represents the awakening of kundalini. I have dreamt 3 days on the back of each other that a black flat snake jumps at me and wraps itself around me. However, the snake is not attempting to suffocate me or bite me, but I still wake up full of anxiety with a fast heartbeat and then have trouble going back to sleep for fear of seeing the snake again.

Just a question… I had a dream recently that’s been bothering me. I’ve had a few dreams about snakes this past month and actually, some pretty bad ones about my husband leaving me, but the one that stuck with me was the one I had where my husband gave me a suitcase full of snakes. At first, I was excited about it, but then I realized the snakes where mean and they started to come at me. And my husband just smiled and walked away. Any input? I blame my husband for a nasty addiction… Could that be the meaning? Or am I worried about infidelity? We have a good relationship, tho. Thank you 🙂

There is certainly no reason to be scared of a dream, in fact dreaming of snakes is quite common and can have many different interpretations, one of them being that you are moving forward, are healing and have entered a phase of personal transformation. Most likely, you have moved beyond a hindrance on your path that existed till recently.
